Always a Rainbow after the Storm. @ 12:22 PM

“Youth is happy because it has the ability to see beauty. Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old.”
- Franz Kafka

It was my twenty-third birthday yesterday, and what greater day for the reminder of how much love the world holds. I saw this quote and I absolutely loved it, because
beauty is truly all around us! It took me a long time to learn MANY things, but seeing the beauty in things is something God blessed me with. Ever since I was a little girl I would try to find the good in people or in bad situations. My mother called it naive, and that very well could have been, but this view is what kept me going... (I am certainly not perfect though, and have had my fair share of "loosing hope" moments). Even now though, this view saves me. The world is filled with so much hurt and there are so many trials people have to face every day. It breaks my heart seeing how much ugly there is... But when I find myself thinking about the ugly, I remember ALL the beautiful!!! Like the beauty in a sunrise or sunset, or in a baby's first giggle, or the embrace of my husband. God has blessed us with so many beautiful things, and in times of trouble and difficulty I know it is hard to see the beauty that lies ahead.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

God is the ultimate beauty at the end of all these worldly troubles and tribulations. I pray that everyone can see that "there is LIGHT at the end of the the tunnel!" & "There is always a rainbow at the end of a storm."
